Summer 2014 for Kindergarten kids

The plans have been made. Summer for kids in kindergarten is going to be awesome. Here’s what we have planned so far. Note that some of our field trips and special guests are still being confirmed, so a more detailed schedule will be available closer to summer. Strollers

Dear families just a friendly reminder that strollers if you wish to leave your child’s stroller at the daycare they must be “parked” in the stairwell next to the parenting centre. With the snow upon us strollers also bring in lots of puddles into our hallways. For safety reasons we ask that strollers not be brought into the hallway if possible. We of course understand if your child is asleep in the stroller then you will need to bring them

Staff placement changes

Great news:  Room 103 teacher, Nichelle Abner, is expecting a baby! Soon! So soon, that she has already left the daycare to begin her maternity leave. This means Hawthorne on Essex Daycare will be making staff placement changes in some rooms as we work out the best way to fill her position. Once all the new placements are established, we will share the final arrangement with you. Thank you for your patience.
